About Ellie

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Addictions Counselor with 20 years of experience working with adults and families battling with the disease of addiction and mental health disorders. I received my education from the Citadel where I completed a Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling. I received both my certification and license in 1999. I offer assessments, individual, couples, family and aftercare counseling. I utilize a variety of evidenced base techniques to include CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing and Mindfulness Therapy.

When considering therapy for the first time many people feel skeptical and apprehensive. I take this into consideration when meeting for the first time. I provide a confidential and relaxed environment for introduction and healing to begin. I am committed to helping individuals and couples feel safe as they begin their journey.
